The aluminum frame from the Stingray is carried over, but the new Z06 is the first Corvette to offer a removable roof panel, and with an unprecedented aerodynamic design and lightweight construction the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette is surprisingly fuel efficient.

620 HP 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

DELAWARE, Ohio- This past Monday, Chevrolet launched a new teaser website to promote the reveal of the new Corvette Z06 at the North American International Auto Show on Monday, January 13th. Not only did the website get us excited for the performance car's debut, but it also leaked some key details about the new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 horsepower! Whether it was truly a mistake or planned marketing move, it looks like we just had our first look at the most advanced Corvette ever!

When Chevrolet launched the Z06 teaser website, the site's description on Google appeared to include more information than the automaker intended. Since Monday the details have been removed, but the original description referred to a 620 HP 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06! If the leaked specifications are correct, the 2015 Corvette Z06 will offer 620 HP and 650 lb.-ft. of torque!

Following in the Corvette Stingray's tracks, the 2015 Corvette Z06 will make its debut at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday. However, with 620 horsepower, it will leave the Stingray in the dust. The Corvette Stingray which made its debut last year, is capable of 460 HP and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. While the Corvette Z06 details have not been confirmed, rumor has it the supercar's additional power could possibly come from a supercharged version of the Stingray’s 6.2-liter V8 engine.

Chevy Adopts OnStar 4G LTE Powered By AT&T

DELAWARE, Ohio- In an effort to keep owners connected with everything that is important to them, no matter where they are, Chevrolet is taking in-car connectivity to the next level. The 2014 Consumer Electronics Show this week revealed that Chevy will adopt OnStar 4G LTE powered by AT&T! Owners of select 2015 Chevrolet models will be able to enjoy high-speed data in their vehicle through the automaker's new partnership with AT&T and OnStar.

Chevy will adopt OnStar 4G LTE powered by AT&T on select 2015 models to begin with. At first, the 4G LTE option will only be available on the 2015 Corvette, Impala, Malibu, and Volt. After that, the option will be expanded to additional vehicles like the 2015 Equinox, Silverado, Silverado HD, Spark, and Spark EV. Plus, even more models will be announced later in the year!

New 2015 Chevrolet vehicles equipped with 4G LTE connectivity will offer owners a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot to help you stay connected. With the high-speed data connection, passengers will be able to connect to wireless internet with all of their electronic devices like smartphones, laptops, and tablets. AT&T's involvement is key since it provides the vehicle with a more consistent and powerful Wi-Fi connection than provided by a smartphone.

With the new OnStar 4G LTE option, select 2015 Chevy models will act as a mobile hub. Users will be able to connect to apps and services more easily, even those that require a high-speed data connection. The best part is that AT&T's connection is fast and flexible, keeping you connected to everything that's important. As a current AT&T customer you can simply add your vehicle to an existing AT&T Mobile Share Plan if you have one. If you don't have one, or you are not an AT&T customer, you also have the option to purchase data on its own.

Tips To Avoid Frostbite In Cold Weather

DELAWARE, Ohio- Winter Storm Ion made its way through the United States this past weekend and now it is leaving behind loads of snow and record cold temperatures! As Ohio and surrounding states begin to tackle snow removal, the extremely cold wind chills and making things even more difficult! So before you head back to work or outside to clear the snow, take a look at these tips to avoid frostbite in cold weather!

Tips to Avoid Frostbite

1. Avoid The Outdoors. If you can it's best to stay indoors when the temperatures drop so low, or at least limit how long you are outdoors in the cold, wet, or windy weather. In these extremely low temperatures and arctic wind chills, it only takes minutes for frostbite to develop!

2. Layer Up. To stay warm in frigid temps, bundle up in multiple layers of loose, warm garments. Compared to just one layer of clothing, the air between those layers will act as insulation. Before you head outside make sure to add a final layer of a windproof or waterproof shell to protect you from wind and wet weather

3. Hats On. You already know that a hat will keep you warm in winter weather, but in these arctic conditions it's important to cover your skin to protect it from frostbite. So make sure that your hat fully covers your ears. Plus, you'll stay even warmer if it is made of heavy woolen or windproof materials!

4. Mittens Vs. Gloves. Protect your fingers and hands from frostbite by wearing either mittens or gloves before leaving the house. However, remember that mittens provide better protection, so if you can choose them over gloves.

5. Prepared Travel. When temperatures drop this low and the road conditions are questionable, you can't predict if you're going to have vehicle trouble or get stuck in an unfortunate situation. Whether you're heading to work or just to the store, it's extremely important to be prepared with emergency supplies in your vehicle including warm clothing.

6. Eat Right. We don't usually think about how what we are eating can be affected by the weather but, in this situation we should! In frigid temps, try to avoid alcohol since it causes your body to lose heat faster! Stick with balanced meals and a warm beverage like hot chocolate instead!

As these record low temperatures make their way across the county, remember to keep all of your skin covered when heading outdoors and remember the early signs of frostbite: redness, prickling.
