“Sierra Elevation” Trademark Filed by General Motors

“Sierra Elevation” Trademark Filed by General Motors

DELAWARE, Ohio – Last week, General Motors filed a trademark for the term “Sierra Elevation” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office! Of course our minds automatically race to the GMC Sierra – is a variant of the truck in the works?

The “Sierra Elevation” trademark filed by General Motors was made under the goods and services category of motor land vehicles, namely automobiles, sport utility vehicles, trucks, vans, engines therefor and structural parts thereof. While the automaker has not let us in on any exciting plans for the truck as of yet, rumors have been circulating that the brand is considering a true off road oriented vehicle.  We have to say the name Sierra Elevation seems like the perfect fit for an off road-focused full-size GMC Sierra.

Like we said, GM hasn’t confirmed any of the rumors as of yet but we can only hope our wildest dreams will come true! Until then, check out the impressive line up of current GMC trucks at our Powell Area GMCDealershipChesrown Chevrolet Buick GMC is a family owned and operated dealership in Central Ohio that has been committed to providing the highest quality of service to create lifetime customers for over 50 years.
