Chevrolet Racing Announces Corvette C7.R Debut

DELAWARE, Ohio- Not only is Chevrolet Racing ending 2013 as the most successful name in professional motorsports with a total of 14 championships, but the automaker has also just announced the new Corvette C7.R debut is planned for the Detroit Auto Show next month! Chevrolet Racing announced the Corvette C7.R debut as they come to the end of a successful year and look to continue the success in 2014!

The Chevrolet Racing Corvette C7.R reveal will take place at the North American International Auto Show alongside the 2015 Corvette Z06. In fact, in an effort to represent the modern connection between racing and road-going Corvettes, the Z06 and C7.R were actually co-developed!

Details regarding the debut of the Chevrolet Racing Corvette C7.R have not yet been released, but we do know that the performance car will sport an all-new Jake logo--the unofficial mascot of Corvette Racing. The C7.R will show off its new Jake logo when it makes its racing debut at the Rolex 24 At Daytona on January 25th, just days after its public reveal!
