General Motors Nominated for North American Car & Truck of the Year

DELAWARE, Ohio- Two of the most noteworthy awards in the automotive world, the North American Car and Truck of the Year, are nearing their 2014 announcement at the Detroit Auto Show next month. An honor for whichever vehicle may win, GM has three chances to win the award this year! Three General Motors vehicles are nominated for 2014 North American Car & Truck of the Year! Key updates and additions to the automaker's line up over the past year have landed nominations for the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Chevrolet Silverado, and Cadillac CTS.

The three GM vehicles nominated for North American Car & Truck of the Year were able to impress a jury of 48 automotive journalists to be selected as finalists from 28 foreign and domestic contenders! Even more impressive was the Silverado's nomination since it was one of just three finalists selected from 18 nominees in the Truck/Utilities category! These nominations for North American Car and Truck of the Year prove that General Motor's efforts are right on track.
