Quality education, training, and enforcement are key to controlling this public health crisis and the upcoming Impact Teen Drivers Train-the-Trainers Workshop is aiming to do just that! Non-profit organization, Impact Teen Drivers, is dedicated to educating teens, parents, and community members about the dangers of distracted and reckless driving through their evidence-based and cost-effective programs. During the five hour workshop, participants will partake in educational videos, interactive materials, and high-energy presentations and discussions to learn about research and statistics on the issue, Graduated Driver Licensing laws, the "What do you consider lethal?" campaign, and how to communicate the essentials of safe driving.
Don't miss the Train-the-Trainers workshop on March 13th from 9am-2pm at the Delaware County Development Disabilities Center to learn more about how you can make a difference by implementing the Impact Teen Drivers program in your community. There is no cost to attend the workshop and lunch will be provided. Just make sure to come dressed in business casual attire.
